In the app, choose your bank. You are taken to your bank to approve read-only access through a regulated Open Banking provider.

Access is read-only, so Submit&GO can never move money. You can disconnect at any time.

Banks require you to renew your permission periodically. This is a security rule of Open Banking, not an error.

MTD for VAT applies to all VAT-registered businesses. MTD for Income Tax is phasing in from April 2026 for sole traders and landlords above certain income levels. Check on GOV.UK →

Yes. Your accountant sends an access request from their agent workspace and you approve it in your account. They then see your records alongside their other clients.
